INTERNATIONAL PUBLIC POLICY INSTITUTE

Building A More Peaceful and Sustainable Earth

ABOUT THE IPPI

Founded in 1976, the International Public Policy Institute (IPPI) is a 501(c)3 Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in consultative status with the United Nations' Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and Department of Public Information (DPI).

VISION STATEMENT

An unprecedented global shift is embracing our world, bringing the collapse of cherished certainties and institutions everywhere. There is no clear path for nurturing values upon which to create peace-building policies. The IPPI vision is to understand this historical moment as a unique opportunity to work with citizens and governments in the ways needed now for peace-building international public policy. People everywhere are organizing for the kind of peace-building that includes all creation and the most vulnerable people of every country. We are a working part of them.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Mission of the International Public Policy Institute (IPPI) is to deal with major issues that impact the earth and her people. We work in a way that focuses on the areas of leadership, public policy, peace-building and international relations. We show how these goals can provide education and action focus. A main concern is our work with those who are often forgotten by history such as women and children living in poverty.

The IPPI has worked with young leaders and has grown into being highly collaborative in the United Nations community. Hearing the call of the earth's women and earth's environment, and the need for just relationships among people, we work with individuals and organizations in:

  • Creating programs to inspire, educate and bring forward young leaders worldwide who have the passion and skills for world service.
  • Offering leadership and membership on United Nations committees and working groups that address women, youth and environmental issues that also relate to the goals set in the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
